COSTA DEL SOL & MOROCCO



Day 1-Thursday: USA-Costa del Sol
Board your overnight transatlantic flight to Malaga, via Madrid. Relax and enjoy dinner and a movie onboard.
Days 2 & 3– Friday & Saturday: Costa del Sol
Arrival and transfer to your beachfront hotel. Days at leisure to relax and to familiarize yourself with your hotel and the area where you are staying. (B,D)
Day 4 - Sunday: Costa del Sol – Algeciras- Ceuta – Fez
Early departure by motor coach to Algeciras (75 miles) to board the ferry crossing the straits of Gibraltar to Ceuta, a Spanish enclave in North Africa (one hour), continue to the Moroccan border for passport control and proceed directly to Fez with a brief stop en route (187 miles). Dinner and overnight stay. (D)
Day 5 - Monday: Fez
Buffet Breakfast. Full tour of the first imperial city of Morocco, founded in the 9th century . Visit of the Jewish and Christian Quarters, the Royal Palace (from the outside), the Medina (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO) with its mosques and university, the Nejarine fountain and the Tanners Quarter. In the afternoon, panoramic tour and free time for shopping. Lunch or dinner and overnight stay. (Optional "A Local Wedding in Fez" a spectacular show-parody of a traditional wedding ceremony while we dine in typical Moroccan style). (B,L or D)
Day 6 - Tuesday: Fez –Meknes-– Marrakech
Buffet Breakfast. Depart to Meknes with a panoranic city tour, then to Marrakesh using the highway. Dinner and overnight. (B,D)
Day 7 - Wednesday: Marrakech
Buffet Breakfast. Panoramic tour of the red city, the Menara gardens, the Saadian Tombs (16th century), El Bahia Palace, the Jewish quarter and the Koutoubia Minaret. Optional lunch and continue visiting the Medina (free time for shopping). At the Djemaa El Fna Square we will see the snake charmers, acrobats, water sellers, and scribes writing letters for the illiterate. Lunch or dinner and overnight stay. (Optional "Fantasia dinner chez Ali" an evening of expert horsemanship, Berber dancing and local delicacies as we dine in the traditional Moroccan style). (B,L or D)
Day 8 - Thursday: Marrakech – Casablanca - Rabat
Buffet Breakfast. Depart to Casablanca with a brief stop in Settat. Upon arrival, panoramic tour of this cosmopolitan city, with a visit from the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque. Continue to Rabat, the Capital of the Kingdom. Dinner and overnight stay. (B,D)
Day 9 - Friday: Rabat - Tangier
Buffet Breakfast. The city tour will show us the exquisite Tower of Hassan (12th century), the busy Kasbah and the imposing Royal Palace from the exterior. Visit the Mohamed 5th Mausoleum and the ruins of the old Mosque. Continue to Tangier via Larache. Panoramic tour in Tangier. Dinner and overnight stay. (B,D)
Day 10 – Saturday: Tangier-Ceuta-Algeciras-Costa del Sol
Buffet Breakfast. Depart for Ceuta. Free time for shopping. We catch the Ferry to Algeciras and continue by bus to the Costa del Sol. (B,D)
Days 11 to 14 - Sunday thru Wednesday : Costa del Sol
Days at leisure in Torremolinos to relax, enjoy the area, purchase some excursions if desired, and do some shopping (perhaps some Lladro?) Buffet Breakfast & Dinner daily is included daily in your hotel (B,D)
Day 15 Thursday: Costa del Sol-USA
After breakfast, morning departure from your hotel to Malaga airport for your return flight back home arriving later today. (B)
REMARKS: Day 8: Overnight can be either in Casablanca or Rabat. Sightseeing tours of both cities are guaranteed. Hotels and itinerary are subject to change. Alternative hotels if needed will always be of a similar or higher category. Baggage allowance: 1 suitcase per person.

Fez (2 Nights)

Salagh Park Palace (5*)
Surrounded by a lush Andalusian garden, this hotel features 3 pools, (one heated). This air-conditioned historical hotel features a garden with a terrace, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, massage treatments, tennis, basketball, table tennis, billiards, pinball, darts, chess and card games. An entertainment program provides further amusement for our guests.
CROWN PALACE (5*)
A very stylish 5 star hotel, in the tradition of the great Moroccan luxury hotels, the Crown Palace expertly mixes tradition, luxury, and modernity. Located in the center of the city, the Crown Palace has 133 rooms. Refined up to its smallest details, it is elegantly decorated with a combination of modern architecture, upscale and state-of-the-art amenities and equipment.
Marrakech (2 Nights)
Atlas Medina Hotel and Spa (5*)
Set in a large garden, this opulent hotel with Moroccan-style architecture is located very close to Marrakech’s modern city centre and less than one mile away from Menara Gardens and Monument. The hotel features two outdoor pools, a fitness center, and a health spa with sauna, a hammam, and spa tubs. Le Jacaranda restaurant serves international and regional cuisine.
Royal Mirage (5*)
This hotel is located outside the ramparts of Marrakech with a panoramic view of the Atlas Mountains and just 5 minutes away from the center of the Medina.
All the 662 rooms are equipped with an array of modern amenities and have either views of the pool or garden.
A variety of delicious dishes and fine drinks can be enjoyed at the in-house restaurants and bars.
Rabat (1 Night)
Golden Tulip Farah (5*)
Overlooking the river Bouregreg, the Golden Tulip Farah Rabat is a modern five-story hotel located within close to the Mohammed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower in Morocco's capital, Rabat. The 193 air-conditioned guestrooms are decorated in soft muted colors and include direct-dial phones, minibars, satellite TV and internet connections. Most rooms have a view of the pool or river. Guests can dine on Moroccan specialties as wel as international and Italian cuisine in the three hotel restaurants. There are also three bars. Room service is available 24 hours a day. The Ibis Moussafir Rabat hotel is located in the city centre, 20m from the railway station, in the residential and administrative district of Agdal. 15 min from the beach, the zoological gardens and the village of Moroccan arts, and only 10 minutes away from the Palais Royal, the Kasbah des Oudayas, and the Mohamed V mausoleum. It has 95 air-conditioned rooms and a restaurant, a terrace, ans a bar serving snacks 24 hours.
Tangier (1 Night)

This hotel is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the main sites of Tangier, and along the scenic seafront. Most rooms offer a beautiful view overlooking the Mediterranean and include private bathroom, hairdryer, satellite television, and direct-dial telephones.

Amaragua Hotel - superior 4-star

The Amaragua Hotel is located on the beach in Torremolinos, Costa del Sol, Spain overlooking the Mediterranean. Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated and include full bath and large private balconies with seaview.
