Itinerary: GREAT CITIES OF SOUTH AMERICA

Day 1: USA-Buenos Aires overnight flight. Dinner and movie on board.

Day 2: Buenos Aires
Arrival in Argentina and transfer to your centrally located hotel. Rest of day at leisure to explore the surroundings and perhaps shop for leather, suede, wool knits,

Day 3: Buenos Aires
Morning sightseeing tour of the city’s main landmarks: Plaza de Mayo, Presidential Palace (Pink House), Congress Building, Opera House, and Palermo Park.  Remainder of day at leisure.  This evening we take you to a classical Argentinean Dinner and Tango Show. Overnight in Buenos Aires.

Day 4: Buenos Aires
Full day tour to an Argentinean Hacienda. This typical and unique excursion will allow us to admire the traditional folk dances and enjoy the songs of the Argentine Gaucho (cowboy).  The party is held at an old country ranch located about 90 miles from Buenos Aires. A barbecue lunch, or  ‘asado”, with wine is included.

Day 5: Buenos Aires- Rio
After breakfast, transfer to Ezeiza airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro. Upon arrival in Rio, rest of the day at leisure to explore the spectacular beaches, contagious music and beautiful people of Rio. Also, you may want to look into the many good buys in precious and semi-precious stones, leather and sportswear.

Day 6: Rio
Today we will enjoy a city tour of Rio visiting the Carnival area, the Cathedral, the Lapa district, and the Flamenco Park. Later we will take the train- a modern Swiss-made cogwheel rail, riding through the spectacular Tijuca Forest to the summit of the Corcovado mountain, which holds the gigantic statue of Christ standing with its arms open to the spellbinding view of the city below.

Day 7: Rio
Today’s included sightseeing takes us to the town of Itacuruca to board a schooner for a full-day cruise around Rio's Tropical Islands. White sands, palms, and clear water forms a bit of this paradise inviting. You may also sight a few dolphins having fun on the water. We’ll disembark to have lunch win a private Island with interesting birds and animals. Evening return to your hotel in Rio.

Day 8: Rio- Santiago
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight Back to Santiago (Chile). Arrival in Santiago. Meeting upon arrival and transfer to your hotel. Rest of day at leisure.

Day 9: Santiago
Today we enjoy a full day tour visiting the city of Santiago, including the Pre-Columbian Art Museum, San Cristobal Hill for a panoramic view of the city, the Cathedral, Post Office, and National Museum.

Day 10: Santiago
After breakfast, departure on our tour to Concha y Toro traveling along Chilean foothills and villages. Concha y Toro Vineyard is one of the largest exporters of fine Chilean wines, including the wine cellars and storage area followed by a wine tasting. Overnight in Santiago.

Day 11: Santiago- USA
After breakfast, transfer to Santiago airport for your flight home, arriving the next morning.
