GREEK ISLAND HOPPING ITINERARY
Day 1- Thursday: USA-Athens, Greece
Overnight flight to Athens.
Day 2 - Friday: Athens
Our representatives will welcome you to Athens upon arrival after clearing customs, and you'll be transferred to your centrally located hotel. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 3 – Saturday: Athens-Mykonos
After breakfast at your hotel in Athens, you'll be transferred to Piraeus port to embark in the high speed ferry to the Greek island of Mykonos. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Rest of day at leisure.
Days 4 & 5- Sunday and Monday: Mykonos
Myconos is the most famous island in the Cyclades. Its reputation has spread during the last years due to its unique landscape, its archeological sites, its cosmopolitan environment and its magnificent seas. Mykonos is an island that is full of contradictions. The contradicting elements that are apparent in this small stretch of land give the island a distinct eccentricity. Mykonos sways between the traditional and the contemporary, from the simple to the complex, and from the accustomed to the unexpected elements.
The touching of the whitewashed homes with the blue sea creates a dominant factor and enforces a color motif that gives a special coherence and harmony to the area. It has charmed many anonymous and famous travelers that have written valuable descriptions of the island. Nikos Kazantzakis even wrote that, "Jerusalem, Mykonos, and Moscow are the three cities that amazed him ". The terrain is scenic and rugged, winters are mild, and the summers are cool.
Day 6- Tuesday: Mykonos-Santorini
After breakfast at your hotel in Myconos, you'll be transferred to the port to embark in the high speed ferry to the Greek island of Santorini. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Rest of day at leisure.
Days 7 & 8 – Wednesday and Thursday: Santorini
Santorini has one of the most spectacular landscapes not only in Greece but in the world. The traditional villages of the island, built on tall cliffs, offer breathtaking views over the submerged volcano. It has been said that the sunsets in Santorini are the most espectacular in the world.
Be sure to visit Santorini's very unique, black sand beaches like those found in Perissa and Kamari. The centre of town is awash with color by day as shoppers find bargains, while at night the bars pulsate with fun-loving tourists and locals who enjoy the beautiful views of the coast. Everywhere, one sees small domed churches and remnants of days gone by. Santorini is a must-see island that has it all - from hypnotic sunset views of volcanoes rising out of blue seas, to beautiful beaches, warm people, and amazing cuisine.
Day 9- Friday: Santorini-Crete
After breakfast at your hotel in Crete, you'll be transferred to the port to embark in the high speed ferry to the Greek island of Crete. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Rest of day at leisure.
Days 10 & 11 – Saturday and Sunday: Crete
Crete offers many surprises in its changing nature... forests of palm trees meet tall mountains, and majestic plateaus leading to the sea. But it is a sea such as you have never seen before. Its tranquil blue waters bring memories of a rich cultural past, of ancient travelers and mythological legends.
Crete also carries a long history that goes back to the 7th millennium BCE. It is the island that brought us the Minoan civilization with buildings of perfect architecture, and where later came the religious Byzantium years from which many monasteries are still preserved today. Crete also cultivated a rich culture that offered us great painters such as El Greco, and writers such as Nikos Kazantzakis. Its people developed unique customs, dances and music visible even in the present modernized life. The land of history, culture and feasts offers you its smile and welcomes you in the mysterious yet familiar world of the Cretans. Dinner is included during your stay in Crete.
Day 12– Monday: Crete-Athens
Flight Heraklion-Athens.
Enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Athens. You will see the center of the city, Constitution Square (Syntagma), the Houses of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, and the National Library. As we drive down Herod Atticus Street, you will see the Evzones in their picturesque uniforms and the Residential Palace. On our way to Acropolis you will see the Panathenaic Stadium. This is where the first Olympic games of the modern era were held in 1896. You will also visit the Temple of the Olympian Zeus and Adrian's Arch, and then finally the Acropolis including the famous Parthenon. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 13– Tuesday: Athens-USA
After breakfast, transfer to Athens airport for your return flight, arriving later today.

The 4-star Stanley Hotel is located 5 minutes away from the city center of Athens, and jat a mile from the Syntagma Square, and orty five minutes drive from the Airport. The hotel was built in 1966 and renovated its rooms and restaurant in 2003.
